VOOT Kids is an exclusive kids edutainment OTT platform from the house of Viacom18 Media Private Limited. The platform offers an engaging, fun-learning experience with an extensive content library spread over 13000 hours of videos, 500+ e-books, 150+ audio stories, 5000+ quizzes and Fun games. The app, with its quality content offered across four major categories of WATCH, READ, LISTEN and LEARN & parental control features like the ability to limit screen time and track browsing history, makes VOOT Kids a safe environment for kids.
Voot Kids learning framework is inspired from Gardener's Theory of Multiple Intelligences and accredited by the Early Learning Association. We are not affiliated to any school board or curriculum. Our endeavour is to make learning fun for kids across the age groups of 2-8 years

You can delete a kid's profile from settings but you cannot delete your account. We are still working on it. For more assisstance, you can reach out to us at support@vootkids.com

No, we don't run any ads. We believe in an ad free experience.
We understand your desire to have a safe online experience for your child. Voot Kids feels the same and gives utmost importance to creating a protected experience as your child enters the world of apps and games. For certain features on the app to function, we require access to your device information and we seek permission before we do that. It's a technical requirement and Voot Kids does not use your personal information for any other purpose.
We want you and your child to have a personalised experience on Voot Kids . So, please register and enjoy the Voot Kids experience.
Go to Parent Zone, click on device settings and turn on the notifications

Subscriptions & Payments

You can subscribe to voot kids, using these steps:
  • Register yourself on the application
  • Click on "Subscribe To Voot Kids"
  • Select your desired plan click on "PROCEED"
  • Select your desired payment options
You can access the free content without paying. But to access the content which has crown icon on the top of their thumbnail, you have to subscribe to any of our available plans.
Clear cache/data for handheld device and cache/cookies if trying through website. Here's how you can do it: https://bit.ly/3jyvfAC. If it doesn't help, send us the following details at support@vootkids.com: Error snapshot, Bank Name, Mode of payment, Platform details.
Please login using the registered phone number and log in method used at the time of registration (Facebook, Google, Apple ID, Mobile Number). In case you still face issues, drop us an email at support@vootkids.com with the following details:
  • Subscribed ID
  • Error snapshot (if any)
  • Current version of the installed app
  • Device details: (make, model and OS version)
  • Payment Proof
In parent zone, Go to settings and click on the Subscription section. This screen will have your subscription details. Click on 'Cancel Subscription' button at the bottom of the screen and confirm that you want to cancel. Your subscription will be discontinued and we will not charge you the next cycle onwards. You will be able to enjoy the services till the last day of your subscription period.
Sorry, we will not be able to refund you on cancelling your subscription, but you will not be charged from the next billing cycle in case of a recurring subscription. However you can enjoy the services till the last day of your subscription.
This could happen if you are trying to log in with another ID. For e.g. you've registered with your phone number, but are logging in using Apple/Google/Facebook/Amazon . Ensure that you log in using the ID that you have subscribed with. Incase this does not help then please write to us at support@vootkids.com with the payment details for further assistance.
You cannot change the plan type from monthly to yearly or vice versa in an ongoing subscription plan. You will be able to change the plan once your existing subscription expires.
Yes you can access the free content. But to access the premium content you have to renew your subscription.

If you are using an android phone, then please try logging in again and click on "Restore Subsctiption" button.

If you are using an iOS phone, then please proceed to complete your subscription and click on "Restore Subsctiption" link at the bottom of Plan selection screen.

If the above does not work and you are unable to restore the subscription, then please write to us at support@vootkids.com

You can either choose the promocode from the list after clicking on "Apply" on payment screen or can manually type in the promo code if you have the promo code.
All promo-codes are listed on payment screen and you can use them by clicking on "Apply".

  • By clicking on the "Subscribe Later" button, you can access the free content without paying. But to access all the premium content , you have to subscribe with any of our plans.
    We have Credit Cards, Debit Cards, PayTM, UPI and Net Banking as our payment options. Whereas, our recurring subscriptions (if applicable) can be availed via Credit Cards (Visa, Master and Amex), App Stores, selected Debit Cards which include ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Canara Bank, Citibank, Corporation Bank, Deutsche Bank.
    We care for your hard-earned money. If the payment status is failed - the bank will auto-refund the transaction within 2-3 business days. You can later subscribe again. If the payment status is 'Success', write to us at support@vootkids.com with your subscribed phone number/email ID, payment details like order ID, payment reference number, invoices, screenshot of payment and we will check the status & help you at the earliest.
    In parent zone, go to settings and click on the "Biiling History". This screen will have your subscription details. You can also download your invoice details. For any further assistance, you can reach out to us on support@vootkids.com
    If you have done the payment through iTunes Or Google Play Store, you can change the Payment method by visiting the respective sites. Otherwise you have to wait for your current subscription to end and then Subscribe again later. For any further assistance, you can reach out to us on support@vootkids.com

    Content

    Download feature is available only when you subscribe to any of our plans and become our premium users. Content that can be downloaded will have the Download button below. Downloaded videos, audio stories and eBooks can be found in My Stuff. All eBooks come with a preview which can be streamed, however, to read the complete book it has to be downloaded.
    This happens when there is an internet fluctuation. Clear the app's cache & data and try downloading again. Here's how you can clear cache: https://bit.ly/3jyvfAC. If that doesn’t help, write to us at support@vootkids.com with a snapshot of the relevant screen and of the speed test conducted on your network. To check it, you can download an app from Google PlayStore: https://bit.ly/3rDR44v
    Downloaded content will be available to you till the time you are a subscribed user with us. Once your subscription expires you will not be able to access the content.
    You will shortly be able to create a watchlist. Our team is working on this.
    Currently, we don't have subtitles or closed captions. Please drop us a line if you think we should introduce subtitles. Note: Most of our ebooks have narration, to help your child read better.
    Yes, every profile's viewing history syncs across devices for the same login.
    Downloaded content will be available to you till the time you are a subscribed user with us. Once your subscription expires you will not be able to access the content. If you are a subscribed user and have uninstalled and reinstalled the app or if you are on a different device than the one from which you had downloaded content, your downloads will not be accessible.     If you have subscribe to any of our plans then there is no limit, you can download as long as your device support as it will be downloaded on your device

    In the Last Viewed section under My stuff there's a 'Clear' button on the right. You can delete your history by clicking and confirming the action.
    Go to Settings and click on Device Settings. Select 'Default Stream Quality' of your choice from the drop down.
    The content which has crown icon on the top of thumbnail is paid and can be accessed only after you subscribe, otherwise all content without crown thumbnail is free
    You can access the free content by clicking "Subscribe Later" on the plan screen.
    The content with crown icon on the top is the premium content. You can access it only when you have subscribed to any of our plans.
    Yes, you can select different qualities for video streaming by clicking on the gear button pesent at the top-right corner on the video player screen. The different levels present are Low, Medium, High and Auto.
    You can switch the streaming quality by clicking on the gear button pesent at the top-right corner on the video player screen
    Go to Device settings and change the 'Download Quality' settings before downloading any content.

    Sign-in & Registration

    You can register using your: Social Login (Facebook, Google, Apple) Mobile Number
    You have to log out from all the devices individually. Should the issue persists or in case of login via social, drop us an email at support@vootkids.com along with a picture of the relevant screen for us to assist you
    You can update your email ID and mobile number by using the Profile button on the top left hand corner of the app and then go to PARENT ZONE - SETTING - ACCOUNT where you will be able to update your email ID and Mobile number as needed.

    If you've logged in via Social (Google/Facebook/Apple), you'd need to visit the respective platform to reset it.

    If you have logged in using your Phone Number, you can reset it by following the below steps:

  • Click on ‘Login’ and type in your registered details
  • Click on ‘Continue’
  • Click on ‘Forget Password’ and click on Continue
  • An email/SMS with an OTP will be sent to you
  • Enter the OTP and reset your password
  • OR

  • Click on the profiles button on the top left part of the screen.
  • Go to Parent Zone - Settings. You will be asked to enter your parent PIN to access this section.
  • Go to 'Accounts' and click on 'Reset Password'.
  • You need to enter your old and new password to save the changes.
  • In case you forget your old password please click on 'Forgot password' link at the bottom of the screen.
  • In case you face any issues, please write to us at support@vootkids.com with a screenshot of the relevant screen and your registered ID.

    Device & Availability

    We are currently available on handheld devices such as Android, iOS and on TV platforms such as Android TV, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, JioTV, TataSky Binge App and web.
    You can access the application from 10 devices simultaneously using the same login credentials.

    Just follow these 3 simple steps:
  • Connect your mobile device and TV screen with the same WiFi
  • Tap on the Chromecast Icon
  • Select the device you want to cast on
  • Make sure you are connected to the internet. Click on the cast button and select the media. Relaunch or relogin if it doesn't work. For further help please contact us at support@vootkids.com

    Parent Zone & Settings

    The Parent Zone on the Voot Kids app can be accessed through the Profile section on the top left hand corner. This is a password-protected zone where parents can see the time their child has spent on the service. Parents can control daily usage of the app and set bed time for each profile through 'Preferences' section under Parent Zone.
    Voot Kids brings to you easy access to what your child is consuming and learning on a daily/weekly/monthly level. The Parent Zone is pin protected and offers a summary of all activities like videos watched, books read, learnings on the go and badges won.
    Yes, you can. Each child has his/her own profile. The Parent Zone will be personalised for every profile.
    You can set up a screen time limit from the Parent Zone. Eg: If you want your child to use the app for not more than 30 minutes, then the timer will shut down the app on the 30th minute.
